I have played hockey for many years and always have had problems finding the perfect skate, so I decided to make my own custom skates.
The process began with making plaster molds of my feet. Around these molds, the skates are shaped with carbon fiber and Kevlar. Because of the perfect fit, there is less power loss into a skating stoke and no more pain in your feet where the conventional skate was hurting. And the most significant benefit, I will be skating on my handmade hockey skates.

When I found this old apple crate at a street market in Bretagne, France, I knew exactly what to do with it. I cut a glass plate that fits nicely on the four corners and milled the corners so the plate lays flush with the crate's edges. I mounted it on four wheels for maneuverability.
The coffee table is not only an esthetically pleasing object to put your coffee mug on; the space underneath the glass plate can be used for storage and display.

The Organic Enlightment lamps were an idea stuck in my head that came to the surface when I saw a chopped down tree in the forest behind my house. I chopped off some pieces and took them home.
I made a series of six lamps, which are all different but share the same organic look. The tree's unique wood lines and knots give each lamp a unique look.
Wooden Stool

I created a stool with the leftover pieces of wood from the lamps. To get an excellent robust handmade look, I used a handsaw, some sanding paper, nails, and a hammer.
It was quite laborious to saw and sand everything by hand, but it was fun to do and gave the stool the robust handmade look that I had in mind.

To make myself more independent traveling with all my sports gear, I got a van. I designed and built the interior of the van. To make it best suitable for me, I defined a couple of user requirements. I wanted a big bed which I could fold away to create space. The conversion from a big bed to a spacious living area had to be quick (goal within a minute), along with plenty of storage.
I built a running water system with over 25 liters of water storage. The solar panel system with 12 to 220-volt inverter makes charging of devices and use of kitchen equipment possible. Building this van was a fun challenge to make optimal use of space.
Unfortunately, I lost the Solidworks models of the interior to a burglary. So now burglary safety is the next van project.
